👷 Reason for the construction work: quality offensive

🚧 S tops to be dropped: Celle, Uelzen, Lüneburg, Verden and Nienburg

🚉 S tops with reduced train services: Bremen main station, Ludwigslust, Wittenberge

❌ Restrictions :

• On the southern Germany - Kassel - Hanover - Hamburg axis, direct ICE connections will still be offered approximately every half hour. Trains will be rerouted and therefore take around 45 minutes longer. The stops in Celle, Uelzen and Lüneburg will be cancelled as a result. The ICE Sprinter Hamburg - Frankfurt and tourist ICE connections Hamburg - Austria will only run between Hanover and Frankfurt or Austria.
• On the southern Germany - Cologne - Bremen - Hamburg axis, direct ICE trains will still be offered every hour, but will take around 20 minutes longer. The ICE trains NRW - Bremen - Hamburg - Binz will only run between Hamburg and Binz.
• No direct long-distance connections can be offered between Bremen and Hanover, so the stops in Verden and Nienburg are no longer available.
• Between Hamburg and Berlin there are now three long-distance trains every 2 hours instead of four.
