For affected passengers at both stations, replacement buses will run every 20 minutes between Markt Schwaben and Erding, stopping at all stations. The timetables for the replacement buses can be found in the online journey planner and in the appendix.

The reason for this is that the line speed has to be reduced because damage to the track was discovered during an inspection.

These are to be repaired with a comprehensive track renewal so that the line can be operated at regular speed again from probably June 2026.

In order to be able to offer a stable service at the usual frequency on the single-track line until then, the stops in St. Koloman and Aufhausen will unfortunately have to be canceled.

The journey times and timetables at all other S2 stations will remain unchanged.
